  • Sunday 28 April 2024 Jonathan's Jungle Roadshow As part of our whole school treat, School Council arranged for an amazing jungle experience for all of the children.
  • Wednesday 7 February 2024 Fire Engine visit We had a lovely afternoon today- the local fire engine came to visit! We had great fun squirting water and exploring all the equipment. It was interesting to see the different features and compare them to those available in the Great Fire of London.
  • Tuesday 23 January 2024 Digibus Fun This week, Northleach School has been visited by the Digibus, which is a Cheltenham based charity bringing digital education, help, and experiences to local communities within Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.
  • Tuesday 16 January 2024 Year 2 Ukelele This term, Year 2 are learning how to play the ukelele. Mr Milsom, who also teaches guitar, introduced the children to the instrument and showed the different parts and their proper names.
  • Thursday 21 December 2023 Christmas Fair The children had such a lovely time shopping for gifts for their family, there were a lot of very full bags!
  • Tuesday 19 December 2023 Measuring paper chains This term, Year 1 and 2 have been learning about length and height. We have compared the length of different objects and started measuring in centimetres.
  • Thursday 14 December 2023 Christmas Crafts This morning we had a fabulous time making different Christmas crafts. It was a lovely thing to do so a huge 'THANK YOU' to all the volunteers who made it possible!
  • Thursday 14 December 2023 Christmas Jumper Day We wore our Christmas Jumpers in aid of 'Save the Children' and our local food bank.
  • Monday 13 November 2023 Odd Socks Day 2023 Monday 13th November is Odd Socks Day - a day where we celebrate everybody and all the ways we are all different and unique.
  • Monday 13 November 2023 Which is the Odd One Out? We had a very busy afternoon sorting different objects. We looked carefully at their properties and used these to group the objects into sets. Then we played 'Odd One Out.' We looked at sets of objects and discussed in small groups which we thought was the odd one out. We explained our reasons using the our knowledge of the different properties and soon realised there were several possible answers.
  • Friday 10 November 2023 Tasting Indian food Our topic this term is 'India' so we spent yesterday afternoon tasting different foods from India. We tried poppadoms, mango chutney, nan bread, samosas and bhajis. We thought about how each food looked, how it tasted and whether we enjoyed it. It was quite a feast and we had a lovely time!
  • Sunday 15 October 2023 Life Education On Wednesday 4th October, Willow Class learnt all about the body during our yearly Life Education visit.
