Year 5 and 6 Wonderstruck

On Wednesday 7th December, Year 5 and 6 visited The Cotswold School to watch Wonderstruck: The Rocket Show. During the show the children looked at the science of how rockets work and also the history of their development from the invention of black powder up to the development of reusable boosters and space tourism. The show included demonstrations of a working pulse jet engine, a hybrid rocket motor and a full-size, working rocket car! The children absolutely loved it.
