Year 2 Ukelele

This term, Year 2 are learning how to play the ukelele. Mr Milsom, who also teaches guitar, introduced the children to the instrument and showed the different parts and their proper names.

After that, Year 2 learnt how to properly hold the ukelele as well as how to put the ukelele in 'rest' positition.

Then, it was time to play! The children learnt G C E A and a mnemonic to remember the order - Good Children Eat Apples.
