Year 1/2 Benchball

On Monday, it was our turn to house a School Games event, for KS1. We took 2 teams, who both did brilliantly! The atmosphere in the hall was electric. Our SGO captured it perfectly, with the caption 'sheer joy!'

For many of these children, it was their first extra-curricular event, and for others their first competition. They were all outstanding. The white team secured 4th place and the red team managed the win, but regardless of where we came, we all had fun, worked hard, played well individually and as a team. One very happy PE lead :-)
