Oak - Sunny's Salad

Oak Class received a letter from Sunny the Meerkat. He was so delighted to be home again after his adventures in Meerkat Mail, that he'd decided to make his family a special meal. He had some couscous, but it tasted very boring. Could the children help him make it more delicious by designing a couscous salad?

The children tasted plain couscous and decided Sunny was right, it tasted very boring. They then chose ingredients to add to the couscous to make Mrs Bradley a shopping list. The next day, the children carefully used scissors and sharp knives to cut up the ingredients and mixed them into the couscous. Then the best bit...getting to taste their finished creations!
