Oak - Matisse Snails

Oak class have been looking at a picture, L’Escargot, created by the French artist Henri Matisse. We were a little surprised when we found out that it was a depiction of a snail! Matisse created his picture with collage which he called ‘Painting with Scissors.’

We created our own Matisse inspired snails using paint and collage.
